New features for consultants and employers

A new set of features have been added to Loopthing, and they are mainly designed to serve the consultants in charge with companies’ online image, or the business owners who are currently employing people and would like to engage them more into activities related to their business.
If you are not already familiar with Loopthing’s development plan, we launched early with a minimal set of features and we’re working on fulfilling the initial plan at a fast pace. These two main features we added today are part of this plan, so here’s how they can help you.
For consultants in charge with a company’s online image
If you are one of those online companies who work on establishing a company’s online presence (online PR, online marketing or SEO, SEM company), then Loopthing has the right features for your business.
We now enable members of Loopthing to add companies and manage them, while the account is owned by the company itself, not by the manager.
This is done via an accounts management page where you can switch between your account and the business accounts you were delegated to manage on Loopthing.
From now on, as the person in charge with handling the online image of a company, all you have to do is to access the account management page from your dashboard, and add or update the accounts you’ve been assigned.
To access this feature, just log in or create an account on Loopthing, and on your dashboard, explore the “Accounts management” section of your left hand side quick menu.
For business owners having employees
Bringing your employees on Loopthing has never been easier!
As a business owner, now you have the possibility to invite your employees on Loopthing by just submitting their email address into a form on your dashboard and this is it.
Your employees will now come on the site, register as individuals, and get linked to your company automatically. The feature is handy because it saves lots of time compared to the old way of doing things (having to explain your employees how to sign-up, how to connect with your company after joining, etc.)
Finally word on these updates
During the last few weeks we’ve been working on some other small glitches discovered on the site, nothing to involve security issues though. Besides these bugs fixes, small features have been added or improved and you may notice that once you get back on the site.
