From time to time random users will signup just to send a SPAM message to all our users, and leave.

This is hard to stop when we’re dealing with real people, doing  it manually – sending the same message to 100 people in a very short amount of time.

If it would have been automated (like most spammers work), a CAPTCHA form would have stopped it easily.

Now we’re currently working on sorting this out, but since we can’t access your private messages we kindly ask you to forward anything you recieve and consider to be SPAM to security@loopthing.com (our bouncers will take care of it).

We usually deal with these perpetrators really quickly, and prepare the anti-spam measures in no time.  Usually after receiving this kind of message, we’ll try to make sure it is marked as SPAM in less than 24 hours.
